Chief Engineer Officer - Freezer Vessel Role Description:

The Chief Engineer Officer is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and repair of all engineering equipment aboard a fishing vessel. This includes overseeing the main engines, generators, and auxiliary systems to ensure they function efficiently and safely.

Careful coordination with the Captain and other departments is necessary to maintain uninterrupted fishing and processing operations.

Safety procedures must be managed and maritime regulations must be complied with. The Chief Engineer Officer also supervises an engineering crew and ensures that maintenance routines are followed accurately.

Key Requirements:
