Job Description

The core purpose of the role is to ensure effective stock control of goods according to company standards, conducting regular stocktakes, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Stock Control

Ensure stock control and reconcile physical stock with recorded inventory levels (SAGE). Ensure all bins are used effectively, marked correctly, and product codes displayed on correct locations. Conduct stock counts, ensure all stock is quality checked and binned correctly and timely. Allocate all physical stock items to bins, ensure neat and correct placement, report damaged stock, and move it to quarantine for review. Oversee stock wrapping, conduct and complete stock takes, and report discrepancies. Investigate all stock discrepancies and streamline processes for efficiency.

Administration

Produce monthly reports and statistics, including stock variance, stocktake progress, valuation, and shortage reports. Ensure all stock is allocated and updated on SAGE, complete stock journals, assign cost values, and clear non-stock warehouse items monthly. Inspect BOM control codes and ensure system accuracy. Additional reports as required. Ensure data systems are accurate and updated. Order packaging materials and control stock levels.

Warehouse Assistance

Assist in operational constraints, including driving responsibilities if licensed. Handle loading and unloading deliveries, maintain accurate delivery records, perform warehouse cleaning tasks like sweeping floors.

SHEQ Integrated Management System Control

Ensure compliance with the OHS Act, participate in safety activities, report unsafe conditions, incidents, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, wear PPE, and adhere to all safety policies. Participate in management system activities and uphold customer service standards.
