To support, co-ordinate, advise and monitor procurement systems, processes and people in the business by applying subject matter expertise in procurement activities aimed to ensure optimal efficiency in procurement.

Responsibilities

• Procurement
• Timeous and accurate requisition and order management
• Import order management
• Stock management – including stock cycle counts
• Liase with all suppliers, regular business reviews and performance management
• Store personnel management and availability of stores when Plant is operating
• Administration and filing
• Driving duties – as per business requirements. Includes but it not limited to local driving as well as driving to Gauteng at short notice
• Maintenance of the open orders of materials
• Assist with month end and year end functions
• Report on efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes within an area of responsibility

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12, with pure mathematics and preferably physical science
• Minimum NQF Level 6 in Supply Chain or Purchasing Management
• 3 years Procurement experience, preferably in Manufacturing
• Knowledge of Customs Act and experience with Import and Export
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
• MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENCE (code B or 8)

Pay range and compensation package

Salary is up to R30 000
