About Emalahleni Local Municipality Learnership Programme (x Posts)

Emalahleni Local Municipality, located in the Cacadu region of the Chris Hani District, Eastern Cape, is committed to empowering local youth through its Learnership Programme.

This 12-month initiative, offered under the Directorate: Corporate Services, provides unemployed residents with theoretical and practical training to build skills for municipal services and administrative roles, fostering employability and community development.

The learnership aims to bridge the gap between education and employment for Emalahleni residents, particularly youth and jobseekers with limited qualifications.

By combining 6 months of classroom-based theoretical training with 6 months of hands-on workplace experience, the programme equips participants with practical skills and a national qualification to enhance their career prospects in public service.

Duration

12 months (6 months theoretical training, 6 months practical on-the-job experience).
