Job Opportunity: IT and Security Systems Technician

Our client, based in the Eastern Cape for the past 70 years, supplies control instrument products (CCTV/IP Cameras/T&A/Access) to various industries. They are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join their team.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Technical training or certification in IT, Networking, or Electronics
• Relevant IT qualification
• Valid Driver's License and own vehicle
• Willingness to travel within the Eastern Cape

Responsibilities:

• Understanding of wireless technology and networking fundamentals
• Experience with IT hardware, crimping, and cable management
• Familiarity with CCTV, IP Cameras, VOIP, T&A systems, and Access control
• Knowledge of biometrics programming
• Troubleshooting network and system issues
• Resolving basic network problems such as IP conflicts and firewall/router configurations
• Installing CCTV, IP Cameras, T&A systems, and Access control for clients across industries
• Setting up and managing access points, switches, and network infrastructure
• Providing end-user support and training on IT and security systems
