Sales Manager

Job Description:

A marketing/trading company in the chemicals and plastics industry is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team.

Key Duties include:
  1. Sales and marketing of products
  2. Sourcing of products
  3. Negotiations with suppliers
  4. Managing key accounts
  5. Responsibility for turnover and profit
  6. Negotiation of prices with overseas companies
  7. Establishment of local pricing strategies
  8. Preparation and implementation of contingency plans for suppliers
  9. Developing lasting relationships with clients and suppliers
Key Requirements:
  • A BSc in Chemistry with a minimum of 5 years sales experience in plastic resins or similar products
  • National sales responsibility, business acumen, and a sound understanding of pricing, margin structures, and product costs
  • A valid driver's license and own transport are essential
  • Willing to travel nationally
