Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager responsible for overseeing multiple retail furniture stores within a designated area. The role involves ensuring all stores meet sales targets, maintain high customer satisfaction, and adhere to company policies. The Area Manager will also recruit, train, and manage Branch managers and sales staff to promote high performance and teamwork.

Ensure profitability in your area through effective planning, leadership, resource management, and by driving superior customer service and an engaging shopping environment across all branches.

Key Duties
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and meet targets
  2. Monitor store performance and financial metrics to identify improvement areas and develop action plans
  3. Conduct regular branch visits to ensure compliance with standards and support managers
  4. Recruit, train, and develop branch managers and sales staff
  5. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching
  6. Monitor customer feedback to identify trends and improve service
  7. Collaborate with marketing and merchandising departments to align strategies
  8. Manage inventory levels and ensure appealing merchandise displays
  9. Ensure compliance with all company policies, including safety and operational guidelines
  10. Promote effective teamwork and self-management
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 qualification
  • At least 5 years of retail management experience, including 2 years in furniture retail
  • Proven success in driving sales and meeting targets
  • Valid driver’s license
