Job description

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity to join our small, enthusiastic Health Improvement Team within the Public Health Directorate. The service is responsible for ensuring the availability of culture, age, and language-appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date health information and resources to the general population and health professionals. It also informs and supports health improvement work in line with NHS Highland and national priorities, sources and recommends appropriate resources, and contributes to the development of local processes and resource materials when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver a service to professionals and the general public within NHS Highland.
  2. Provide clinical services such as the free condom by post scheme and postal sexual sampling kits.
  3. Maintain excellent communication and administration skills, with proficiency in systems like Microsoft Excel.
  4. Handle resources manually, which may be strenuous due to the nature of the job.
