Job Title : Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager (FSQAM)

Job Type : Permanent

This position is responsible for ensuring the organization is FSSC certified and complies with all relevant company policies, industry standards, and government legislation relating to food safety.

It is also responsible for the Management of Quality and the lab, and serves as the representative for Environmental Management.

The role involves driving continuous improvement through monitoring and auditing compliance to standards.

Skills & Qualifications :
  • Experience implementing a GFSI Food Safety System and/or at least 5 years as a Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager
  • Outstanding internal auditing skills on FSSC or other GFSI systems
  • Experience with ISO internal audits is advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Resilient and assertive with deadline orientation
  • Report writing, investigative, and analytical skills
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Service provider and customer relationship management
  • Time management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license
Responsibilities :
  • Conduct internal audits on systems such as FSSC and IP Handling
  • Prepare reports and implement effective corrective actions
  • Coordinate external audits to achieve certification and supplier approval
  • Ensure world-class hygiene practices as per ISO standards
  • Manage the lab, including equipment maintenance, quality monitoring, record keeping, and statistics
  • Perform sample analysis in internal and external labs, assess COAs with trend analysis
  • Liaise with customers regarding complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
  • Provide training on responsibilities and facilitate meetings and information sessions
  • Maintain document management and statistics to measure system performance against targets
  • Compile business review reports for senior management
  • Conduct internal audits on Environmental Management (ISO)
