Are you a creative leader with a passion for fashion and print design? We're looking for a Graphic and Trend Design Manager on a contract basis to join our fashion retail team and drive the creation of original, on-trend placement and textile prints across multiple departments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, thrives on research and innovation, and can manage a high output of commercial, fashion-forward artwork - all while working closely with Buyers and cross-functional teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and guide the design of original placement and textile prints across various fashion categories and departments.
Collaborate closely with Buyers to understand seasonal direction and translate it into impactful, trend-aligned graphic designs.
Lead and contribute to the design process, from concept to execution, across a high volume and variety of artworks.
Manage and collaborate the trend process with the trend designer.
Key player in development of branding and packaging
Conduct ongoing research into fashion, graphic, and print trends to keep designs fresh and relevant..
Foster a positive, collaborative working environment - both within the design team and with cross-functional partners.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
6 -10 years of graphic and design experience within fashion retail, including textile and placement print design.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop essential).
Strong understanding of fashion trends, colour, and composition.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work one-on-one with Buyers and internal teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables under tight deadlines.
A collaborative spirit with a love for creative problem-solving and storytelling through design.
