Our client in Benoni is looking for a Risk Consultant with experience in the logistics / transport industry.

Minimum Requirements :
- Grade 12
- Diploma / higher certificate within the Sales & Marketing and / or Transport Sector
- Excellent MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge.
- Strong customer focus and problem-resolution skills.
- Excellent ability to engage and communicate (verbal, written, and presentation) within all levels of an organization.
- Great organizational skills for managing Client expectations and delivering product information in a concise manner.
- Strength in working with businesses and understanding their needs and constraints.
- Proficient in understanding the latest technology.
- Ability to represent the company in a positive, confident, and professional manner.
- Experience in Marketing & Sales / Client Success / Experience / retention.
- Experience within the transport industries is highly preferred.
Area of Responsibility :
- Develop and demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of company products and services.
- Create and conduct effective proposal presentations that identify prospects' business problems, the effects of the issues, and the solutions to their problems.
- Ensure a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
- Manage, according to company service standards, the assigned Clients post-sales, to track, analyze, report on, and optimize client potential.
- Provide system training to clients on the application and implementation of products and services sold, when necessary.
- Develop an annual business plan in conjunction with Management, focusing on meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Engage in business conversations with business owners and decision-makers.
- Maximize opportunities in closing sales to increase market share.
- Sell consultatively and recommend solutions the company offers.
- Relate understanding of risk mitigation and advise on risk-related issues within clients' organizations.
- Develop a database of qualified leads through various outreach methods.
- Assist in implementing company marketing plans as needed.
- Source and develop client relationships and referrals.
- Identify and build a network of professionals to maximize revenue.
- Gather and submit detailed business information for proposals and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including using Microsoft Outlook.
- Submit weekly activity reports.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics.
- Participate in educational programs for clients, prospects, and employees.
- Keep risk assessment/management skills current and learn new skills.
- Prepare action plans to meet targets and schedule activities.
- Follow up on leads and referrals.
- Identify sales prospects and contact them as assigned.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities and feedback to staff.
