Vaimo South Africa is looking for a
Junior Graphic Designer to support our internal team with a variety of exciting design tasks — from presentation design to internal event branding. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and gain valuable experience in both
graphic and digital design.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with our local teams to create beautifully designed assets that bring our internal communications and events to life. You’ll also have the chance to dip your toes into
UX/UI by supporting the design team with assets and potentially onboarding into
Figma, depending on your interests and availability.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Designing professional and engaging presentations for internal use (Google Slides).
- Creating visual assets for internal events, such as banners, posters, and digital graphics.
- Developing branded templates for internal documents and slides.
- Assisting with content layout and visual storytelling.
- Supporting the UX/UI team with design assets and learning Figma workflows when time allows.
- Ensuring brand consistency across all internal communication materials.
- Incorporating feedback and iterating on design work quickly and effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- A design portfolio — university or personal projects are welcome!
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or related field.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets).
- Basic understanding of Adobe Suite(Illustrator & Photoshop) and Figma, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage feedback, and meet deadlines.
- A fast learner with a can-do attitude and a desire to grow.
