Job Description
The Director of Marketing & Communication for Mantis Collection leads the development and execution of the brand’s global marketing and communications strategy, focusing on strengthening brand equity and visibility. This strategic role ensures a consistent, compelling, and innovative brand presence across all platforms—driving awareness, guest engagement, and market positioning aligned with Mantis’ vision of conservation-led, luxury hospitality.
Strategy & Brand Development
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that align with business goals, increase brand awareness, generate leads, and improve customer retention.
- Define and maintain Mantis’ brand positioning, voice, and storytelling framework, ensuring consistency and supporting innovation in sustainability, conservation, and luxury hospitality.
- Set clear, measurable objectives for brand, digital, and marketing efforts, with regular reporting and alignment across hotel marketing teams.
Digital Marketing & Web Management
- Lead digital campaigns across SEO, SEM, email marketing, display ads, and social media, optimizing based on data insights.
- Manage and update the Mantis website (WordPress), ensuring content relevance, technical soundness, and strategic messaging.
- Enhance web presence by providing an innovative, user-focused digital experience, with ongoing performance monitoring and content updates.
Content Creation, Social Media & Engagement
- Create and oversee engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, and newsletters that reflect Mantis’ values and experiences.
- Manage content calendars and ensure messaging consistency across channels.
- Grow and engage the online community on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube, fostering interaction and loyalty.
Brand Management & Creative Oversight
- Act as brand custodian, ensuring adherence to Corporate Identity standards across all marketing materials.
- Oversee development of brand collateral and toolkits for corporate and hotel use.
- Manage external creative partners, including agencies, photographers, and designers, ensuring quality and brand alignment.
Public Relations, Communications & Media Relations
- Develop press materials, media kits, and thought leadership content to position Mantis as a leader in conservation and luxury travel.
- Manage internal and external communications, including newsletters and blogs.
- Build relationships with media, influencers, and journalists to enhance brand exposure.
- Represent Mantis at industry events and media opportunities.
- Handle crisis communications to protect brand integrity.
- Monitor and report on PR and branding performance to inform strategy.
Campaigns, Partnerships & Event Marketing
- Plan and manage marketing events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences.
- Support campaigns like Mantis Impact, Mantis Travel Desk, and Accor Loyalty with tailored marketing.
- Collaborate with partners and regional teams to ensure cohesive campaigns that boost visibility.
- Identify partnership opportunities with influencers and media professionals.
Budget Management & Operational Support
- Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring resource efficiency.
- Assist hotel marketing teams with budget guidelines.
- Work with operations to uphold brand standards at the hotel level, including brand audits.
Reporting, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze campaign performance, engagement, and brand sentiment.
- Use insights to refine strategies and improve marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- Over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or public relations
- Passion for community impact, sustainability, conservation, and local engagement
- Exceptional management and interpersonal skills
- Proven marketing success with strong analytical abilities
