Key Performance Objectives
Strategy and Execution
- Generate integrated and targeted content marketing strategies that grow market share and enhance the brand's reputation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a company-wide go-to-market plan, collaborating across departments.
- Ensure alignment of business and brand objectives to increase awareness, consideration, and brand loyalty.
- Develop value propositions for each campaign/show within different MAH regions.
- Establish annual brand objectives, strategies, positioning, tactics, and measures.
- Understand all elements of the business, including value chain and distribution.
Operations Deliverables
- Evaluate market trends to maximize opportunities and mitigate issues.
- Lead the development of creative briefs.
- Manage ad agency performance, including briefing and creative asset development for MAH regions.
- Track and analyze content performance and trends in viewership and channel performance.
- Monitor content and channel performance to meet company objectives.
- Prepare and present regular feedback and performance reports.
- Lead marketing launch plans for various content campaigns.
Relationships and Service Support
- Leverage external and internal networks to identify opportunities.
- Identify and analyze potential partner relationships for content.
- Maintain close contact with corporate marketing, regional heads, and MDs to ensure alignment.
Marketing Budget Management
- Manage annual marketing budget and forecasting activities.
- Track and optimize marketing spend for efficiency.
- Monitor marketing performance against budgets and address variances.
People Management
- Oversee team strength and performance, including attraction, retention, and development.
- Ensure team alignment with company behaviors and strategic requirements.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
Qualifications
- Essential: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Branding, or Communication.
- Postgraduate degree preferred; MBA advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years in marketing or related fields.
- At least 3 years of management experience.
- Experience in media and entertainment industry beneficial.
- Working experience in Africa advantageous.
