  1. Partner with stakeholders in providing financial insights and guidance into operational and decision-making processes.
  2. Monitor and coach behaviors to ensure a service culture that builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations, and enables exceptional client service.
  3. Manage and monitor the applications and effectiveness of the business's financial information systems.
  4. Coordinate the budget preparation process and manage it throughout the budget period, including variance analysis to support decision-making and corrective actions.
  5. Record, analyze, and manage costs with associated drivers for decision-making.
  6. Plan and apply principles to accurately record, adjust, and reconcile financial transactions.
  7. Maintain supporting documentation according to professional standards.
  8. Prepare and report on the business's operations and financial conditions, managing reporting systems for management and performance reporting.
  9. Maximize productivity through efficient planning of people and processes, and identify improvements to accounting and reporting processes.
  10. Manage the interrelationships between various systems and data for effective project planning and delivery.
  11. Review and prepare tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance, and provide tax-related advice.
  12. Participate in a development culture that shares successes, issues, trends, and ideas.
  13. Plan and manage performance, skills development, succession, and talent management to improve team performance.
  14. Continuously assess own performance, seek feedback, and pursue training as needed.

You will be an ideal candidate if you possess:

  • Qualification: Qualified CA and/or CIMA
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in the financial field post-qualification
  • Additional Knowledge: Experience in the financial services industry
