Sales Executive – R20k / month – KZN (Hybrid) – Perm – Start asap – Open to all

POSITION INFO :

Our well-established client in the FMCG industry is looking for a strong Sales Executive to join their team.

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  1. Hybrid channel service and growth in independent and key account customers, including formal and informal markets as well as both on & off trade.
  2. Maintaining positive relationships between the client and the company.
  3. Conducting ongoing market research, analysis, and applying sales strategies.
  4. Calling on existing customers to meet business development goals.
  5. Increasing focus brand listings at store level.
  6. Managing customer accounts regarding credit limits, terms, and payments.
  7. Advising customers on delivery schedules and after-sales service.
  8. Providing feedback on own and competitor trade activities.
  9. Managing events and in-store promotions, including working on weekends and public holidays if needed.
  10. Reporting and maintaining admin updates as per line manager’s requirements.
  11. Ensuring continuous product availability in partners and outlets.
  12. Managing stock rotation across channels and partners.
  13. Effective category management and in-store merchandising.
  14. Ensuring effective product merchandising of the full SKU range.
  15. Customer retention across all accounts.
  16. Proactively sourcing new business for all SKU brands.
  17. Managing KPIs as set monthly and quarterly.

  • CRM management with complete and accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Full compliance with company asset management policies.
  • Adherence to call cycle schedules with quarterly updates.
  • Management of company expenses including trips, entertainment, and ad-hoc costs.
  • Effective time management and administrative compliance.
  • Upholding company culture and standards.
  • Timely submission of all administrative tasks.
Qualifications :
  • Matric (required).
  • Certificate or Diploma from a tertiary institution (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales environment.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Currently employed within the FMCG industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
