Responsibilities
  1. Focus on development of New Business Revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing the deal.
  2. Prepare tenders, reports, presentations, and approve rates for types of customers.
  3. Generate and follow up on qualified leads in line with company-specific requirements.
  4. Analyse clients' needs and propose various courier solutions accordingly and close the deal.
  5. Ensure continuous follow-up by the Sales Team on pending clients.
  6. Manage and retain client relationships on all levels and provide a professional service including after-sales service, client enquiries, and regular follow-ups.
Sales, Targets, and Administration
  1. Exceed sales objective of assigned targets by promoting and selling courier services through professional sales targets.
  2. Ensure consistent achievement of all relevant product/monthly targets.
  3. Submit weekly call reports to the General Manager to monitor weekly activities.
  4. Ensure the pipeline is up to date at all times.
  5. Manage all relevant internal administrative processes.
  6. Attend all meetings and submit weekly stats.
  7. Ensure commission sheets are signed off by the General Manager and submitted to HR.
Product Knowledge
  1. Learn new product knowledge and acquire improved selling skills and communicate to the Sales Team.
  2. Keep abreast of competition services and markets.
Communication
  1. Ensure effective and ongoing communication between the Sales Teams and supporting departments within the Company at all levels.
  2. Respond and assist on all Sales department queries as communicated by the Sales Team.
  3. Ensure effective communication with the General Manager and colleagues.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  1. Matric or Senior Certification equivalent.
  2. MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  3. Minimum of 5 years Sales experience, preferably from the Logistics Industry.
Skills
