Job description

The purpose of our Financial Accountant is to ensure our finances are accurate and informative. The accountant will have a significant impact on company operations, aiding in savings strategies, audits, providing leadership with crucial information, and supporting financial growth. We are committed to serving customers and employees by maintaining accurate, organized, and strategic financial reporting.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the integrity of accounting information, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining compliance.
  2. Handling Accounts Payable, verifying payments, updating bills, and disbursing funds.
  3. Reviewing and reconciling the general ledger, investigating discrepancies, and correcting issues.
  4. Managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  5. Managing monthly Content Provider reporting.
  6. Maintaining the fixed asset register and preparing depreciation journals.
  7. Preparing reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, budgets, and cash-flow statements.
  8. Vetting vendors and creating supplier profiles in the ERP system.
  9. Ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and advising management.
  10. Improving and documenting accounting control procedures.
  11. Engaging with external auditors for smooth audit processes.

The ideal candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, responsible, critical thinker, and adaptable. Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance
