A leading company in Cape Town is seeking a young Project Engineer with a passion for Aerospace or Defence. The ideal candidate will have a BEng or BTech degree and at least two years of relevant experience in engineering projects. This is a permanent, on-site role requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team.

Job description

We are looking for a young Project Engineer with at least 2 years' experience in Engineering R&D, or Engineering Manufacturing, for a permanent role in Cape Town - 100% on-site role.

Must have a completed BEng Degree, BTech Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF L8) in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic, Robotics etc.)
Have at least two years experience in Projects as an Engineer - with either multi-disciplinary or product development projects.
Any Project Management courses/certificates will be beneficial.
Experience with specific Project Management software will be beneficial.
Have a passion for the Aerospace or the Defence or a related Industry - and a passion for cutting edge technologies.
RSA Citizens only.
No criminal record - this will be formally verified.
Be highly organised with an eye for detail.
Be able to work independently, as well as in a Team setting.
Have a valid drivers license and own vehicle to get to work and back (mondays to fridays work).
Already reside in the Cape Town region, or be willing to relocate to Cape Town on own cost.
