A leading company in the food industry seeks a Supply Chain professional to manage materials shortages and optimize inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in FMCG, strong leadership skills, and a desire to grow within the supply chain field. Responsibilities include coordinating action plans, managing working capital, and proposing improvements. This full-time role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional development.
Initiate and coordinate action plans to manage materials shortages.
Satisfactory complete shortage and over reports as per communicated deadline.
Expedite material as per SAP recommendations to support business requirements timeously.
Ensure maintenance of SAP relevant parameters as regulated by management.
Propose and evaluate continuous improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Provide material schedules to all suppliers on a frequency determined by the business.
Minimize or eliminate excess inventory.
Proactively eliminate Slowmoving and Obsolete stock (SLOB).
Maintain safety stock levels.
Identify short to medium term risk.
Manage working capital in accordance with the identified days in inventory target.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Solid experience in a supply chain role working with customers suppliers and other internal stakeholders.
Practical experience of material planning in FMCG company (preferably in food industry).
Experience in managing run in run out (face in face out) of materials.
Degree in Industrial / Supply Chain / Business / Accounting.
Proven leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders on all levels in the organization.
Excellent presentation skills and ability to proactively contribute to customer presentations.
Proven experience in managing and executing CI projects within a dynamic environment.
Cross functional team player and able to operate effectively within a matrix structure.
Flexible approach & innovative problem solver.
Exposure to ERP / SC systems (SAP) and Advanced level Microsoft Office (Excel).
Potential and desire to build career within Supply Chain.
Flexibility in complex ambiguous and fastpaced environment with changing priorities. #LIDNI
