National Operations Manager

Our client, a national franchise operating multiple branches and three major factories throughout South Africa, is seeking to employ a dynamic National Operations Manager to join their team.

This company specializes in the sales, manufacturing, and installation of tombstones.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Implement effective processes and procedures across the organization.
• Formulate strategies, enhance performance, procure resources, and ensure compliance.
• Mentor team members, improve customer service quality, and promote best practices at all levels.
• Ensure factories maintain compliance, efficiency, and profitability.
• Develop and implement documented Standard Operating Procedures.
• Oversee operations across three factories.
• Enhance operational systems and processes.
• Manage inventory and improve efficiency.
• Ensure legal compliance.
• Set strategic objectives.
• Maintain quality controls.
• Supervise staff.
• Report to top management and oversee operational staff.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• Less than 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing or a related area.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete product manufacturing.
• Proven track record as Operations Manager or similar role.
• Proficiency in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
