Purpose of Job : Responsible for the development and performance of Sales Representative activities in the assigned market.
Directs a sales team and provides leadership towards achieving maximum profitability and growth in line with the company vision and values.
Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership : Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, ensuring they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Sales : Responsible for selling and managing company products, services, and solutions to customers within a specific geographic territory. This includes meeting sales budgets, identifying opportunities, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer relationships.
- Make calls and conduct in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Respond to technical questions from customers and establish relationships with them.
- Provide timely, accurate, and competitive pricing while striving to maintain maximum profit margins.
- Resolve customer problems and complaints, ensuring customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Identify product improvements or new products based on industry trends.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
- Attend trade shows and conferences, providing feedback on market conditions.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, management, accounting, logistics, and technical teams.
Administration :
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy to meet company sales and profitability goals.
- Prepare action plans for individual and team efforts to generate leads and explore new markets.
- Develop annual budgets and control expenses accordingly.
- Prepare and present bids and quotations to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, payments, and commissions.
- Schedule visits and meetings with customers.
- Gather customer information to aid marketing and sales strategies.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and target customers regularly.
- Compile and submit monthly reports to relevant departments.
