Details on job description/responsibilities
- Maintaining, servicing, repairing, and providing technical support for all products
- Encompassed by the business ZEISS and other products as required from time to time
- Preparation and submission of job cards in a timely manner
- Preparation and estimation of costs for required work
- Provision of technical support to sales personnel for exhibitions, demos, and client visits
- Visiting clients both countrywide and internationally
- Offering and supporting the sale of Product Support Agreements (PSA)
- Liaison with the company’s internal staff
- Providing continuous feedback to management
- Training customers
- Maintaining the existing customer database
- Mentoring and providing internal training for trainees/new engineers
Job Requirements
Education
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Experience/Special Knowledge/Personal Attributes
Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Electron Microscopy or an equivalent field.
Special knowledge of PCs, electronic troubleshooting, software, and customer interaction is required. Must be a team player, able to work unsupervised, and capable of working under pressure.
Preference will be given to candidates with 10 years of experience in the field of microscopy.
