MK College Group has an exciting opportunity for a creative Art & Design Lecturer at HMP Coldingley. You will engage prison learners with creative classes and resources, inspiring them despite diverse needs and prior negative educational experiences.
The role involves outreach outside the main classroom, supporting learners to achieve qualifications, build confidence, and develop soft skills applicable to employment and further education. Effective communication and motivation skills are essential.
Classes typically have 8 learners, lasting about 3 hours, requiring lessons to be adaptable, innovative, and imaginative.

A Category C prison for adult male offenders, focused on rehabilitation through accredited programs, skills training, and education, including Maths, English, IT, Art, and more.
Located in Surrey, near Woking, accessible via M3 and rail, with parking available.
Education hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00-11:30 and 14:00-16:30, Fridays 9:00-11:30, with class sizes of 8-10 learners.
