Job Description

Requirements: Matric (Grade 12), understanding of FAIS.

This role involves managing and coordinating the organisation’s sales function to meet business requirements. It includes leading a large team of advisors to develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with clients to promote financial products and services.

Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Direction: Communicate actions needed to implement strategy and motivate staff to achieve business goals.
  2. Customer Relationship Management / Account Management: Develop plans for complex customer accounts, build relationships, and address customer needs.
  3. Sell Customer Propositions: Configure solutions, present to clients, negotiate agreements, and review sales proposals.
  4. Sales Opportunities Creation: Build networks, represent the organization at events, and gather market intelligence.
  5. Performance Management: Manage team performance, set objectives, and take corrective actions.
  6. Operations Management: Oversee operational areas with guidance.
  7. Promoting Customer Focus: Develop marketing plans and collaborate internally to strengthen customer relationships.
  8. Key Account Management: Manage important customer relationships and support account teams.
  9. Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting: Develop plans for potential accounts and build relationships.
  10. Budgeting: Develop or deliver budget plans under guidance.
  11. Organizational Capability Building: Use development frameworks to improve team capabilities and provide training.
