Understand key aspects of the pharma industry, including distribution procedures, customer groups within the Pharmaceutical Industry, and Single Exit Pricing (South African pricing legislation).
Key Accountabilities
- Assist with populating spreadsheets for ad-hoc and project-specific initiatives, including updating reports and data links (e.g., Stock Cover).
- Assist with designing and compiling presentation slides as needed.
- Gather and extract data using online tools and coordinate paperwork for project initiatives. Develop and maintain templates, trackers, and dashboards to facilitate better data analysis and visibility for the Supply Chain team.
- Assist with paperwork and administrative coordination for the Supply Chain team.
- Run daily sales reports in SAP to align with sales data from DSV, serving as a backup.
- Ensure purchase orders are captured, processed according to company requirements, and follow up on subsequent orders.
- Manage the importation of products and goods for the South African affiliate.
- Provide necessary Exhibit information to QA & CMO for timely testing and market release.
- Analyze and monitor sales forecasts to ensure consistency and accuracy with demand and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners in Commercial, Production, Finance, and Marketing.
- Provide general administrative support and handle ad hoc tasks.
- Manage portfolio allocation, ensuring accurate forecasting and stock availability within agreed parameters, and monitor the performance of SC/Logistics teams.
- Maintain inventory levels within minimum and maximum thresholds to reduce stock write-offs due to redundancy.
About You
Job-Holder Entry Requirements
- Relevant Degree (Post Graduate preferred)
- 0-1 years’ experience in Demand and Inventory Management in the Pharmaceutical or FMCG Sector (preferable)
- Good communication skills and ability to operate transversally
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office
