Title: Account Manager, Retention Sales, Road Logistics

Type: Full Time

Main Purpose of the Role
  1. Manage client relationships within the existing client base and serve as the main contact point, providing exceptional service and fostering positive relationships.
  2. Maintain and grow the existing customer base in the region, meeting retention targets.
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • 2-3 years of Key Account Management / sales experience, including prospecting for new business and achieving retention targets
  • Experience in Tender Management
  • Experience in selling cross-silo solutions
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain, protect, and grow the client base, meeting retention targets.
  2. Prospect for additional distribution to increase revenue.
  3. Handle monthly billing and financial reporting.
  4. Analyze sales data and report weekly.
  5. Keep client data updated.
  6. Assist in tender/proposal production and presentation.
  7. Create value for customers through innovative solutions.
  8. Ensure targets are met and communicate additional business opportunities.
  9. Manage debtor days within company requirements.
  10. Maintain inter-departmental communication and update client files.
  11. Report regularly to the Sales Manager.
  12. Update and maintain CRM data.
  13. Meet call and meeting KPIs.
  14. Perform general administrative duties.
  15. Perform other duties as requested.
