Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in Materials Management, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain
- Excellent computer skills with thorough knowledge of MRP, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Understanding of the Automotive industry
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision in high-pressure environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in multi-functional and multicultural teams
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Team player with influencing skills
- Autonomous, organized, and disciplined in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with ERP systems focused on Logistics and Warehousing
- At least 2 years' experience as an SAP consultant in a similar industry
- Current knowledge of SAP systems, deployment, and integration
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes for assigned plants
- Conducting cross-functional reviews of customer demand and market intelligence
- Extending long-horizon forecasts to all suppliers (52-week forecast)
- Collecting and updating internal and external capacity information
- Developing strategies to address demand and capacity gaps
- Controlling and reducing logistics costs through optimized planning and utilization
- Enhancing internal supply chain and materials flow using tools like Value Stream Mapping
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize freight and warehouse networks
- Managing internal and external escalation processes for supply issues
- Developing a strong materials and logistics team through regular communication and escalation management
- Ensuring supplier updates in the portal and managing material alarms
- Developing and implementing inventory replenishment processes and forecasting tools
- Recommending and configuring SAP solutions, including scripting and system integration
- Providing SAP support, training, and documentation
- Preparing reports and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
- Staying updated with SAP developments
