Healthcare Member Consultant (Johannesburg)

We are looking for a passionate, and client-centric Healthcare Member Consultant to join our Healthcare Consulting Team. The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of healthcare benefits and has the ability to communicate complex information clearly and confidently, making it accessible to all. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Deliver professional consulting services and dedicated support to corporate clients and their employees, ensuring they fully understand and fully understand and maximise their healthcare benefits.
  • Presentations & Training Workshops: Lead engaging training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one consultations to educate employees on their healthcare options. Customise presentations to suit the unique needs of different client groups.
  • Administration: Handle various administrative tasks such as processing member queries, maintaining accurate records, new applications, and overseeing claims management efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and at least one African language is non-negotiable to ensure effective communication with our diverse client base.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the healthcare benefits sector, gained through a recognised employee benefits consultancy or healthcare service provider.
  • FAIS Accreditation (RE5) – required.
  • NQF 5 Qualification – preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare products and industry-related legislation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license – essential.
