My client, a leader in warehousing and supply chain management, is seeking an experienced HR Manager with warehousing or supply chain expertise to lead HR initiatives, ensure compliance, and drive talent acquisition and development.
The ideal candidate will understand operational needs and be able to recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Strategy & Workforce Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on warehousing and supply chain operations. Collaborate with senior management to identify staffing needs, plan for future workforce requirements, and maintain workforce planning processes to meet operational demands.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Oversee recruitment for warehousing and supply chain roles, ensuring effective hiring. Develop job descriptions, manage candidate pipelines, and partner with operations managers to attract qualified candidates.
- Employee Development & Training: Design training programs tailored to warehousing and supply chain teams, addressing operational procedures, safety standards, and compliance. Identify skill gaps and support career development initiatives.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as the primary contact for employee relations, fostering a positive work culture, promoting communication, and driving engagement initiatives to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Collaborate with operations to ensure HR policies align with health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards. Assist in incident investigations and safety improvements.
- Performance Management & Compensation: Develop performance management systems, guide management on compensation and benefits, and oversee employee recognition programs.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and industry regulations. Maintain HR policies and manage employee records confidentially.
- HR Reporting & Data Analysis: Track HR metrics, analyze data for insights, and provide reports to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR management within warehousing, logistics, or supply chain sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proven recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training experience; knowledge of operational processes, safety regulations, and labor laws; familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
