IT Business Analyst (eTrading - Fixed Income)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to form part of the team responsible for transforming the end-to-end capability for Customer Dealing Pre Trade for RMB and its subsidiaries. You will be responsible for elicitation, evaluation, definition, implementation, and validation of the requirements needed to deliver on the transformation in the Pre Trade business.

Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder management: Build and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue, listen, advise, influence, and negotiate to achieve win-win outcomes.
2. Initiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress, manage expectations, and ensure stakeholders' requirements are delivered.
3. Preserve relationships despite airing conflicting views and seek mutual gains when addressing conflicts.
4. Anticipate consequences and adapt problem solving based on continual feedback.
5. Act speedily to resolve problems, queries, and complaints.
6. Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences.
7. Facilitate one-on-one or group workshops to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and policies.

Qualifications and Experience

1. 4-8 years of Business Analysis experience.
2. Financial markets, specifically FI knowledge is a MUST.
3. Prior experience in electronic execution of FI is preferred, either from a technology, operations, or front-office perspective.

Essential Skills

1. Advanced technology, analytical, and communication skills.
2. Understanding of the FI product set as well as the life cycle of a FI trade.
3. Understanding of FI trading and sales workflows.
4. Excellent documentation skills.
5. Experience in the design and implementation of integration solutions.
6. Experience in working with various integration protocols (FIX, XML over JMS, API).
7. Experience in lean/agile product delivery.
8. Experience in extracting and working with data - data models, data flows, data analysis.
9. Attention to detail with an added understanding of the broader impact of decisions and solutions.
10. Track record of following through on commitments.
11. A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
