Job description

A dynamic and well-established company in the wine and agricultural industry is seeking an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager to join its finance team in Stellenbosch.

This role reports directly to the CFO, and offers the opportunity to lead and enhance financial reporting processes at a group level.The ideal candidate will oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensure adherence to IFRS, and uphold the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage the group's consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS.Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reporting to key stakeholders, including executive leadership and the board.Oversee the preparation of financial reports for regulatory filings.Lead the consolidation process across multiple entities, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations and reporting.Maintain and improve financial consolidation systems and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.Manage relationships with external auditors and facilitate a seamless annual audit process.Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.Desired Qualifications and ExperienceQualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with group financial reporting, and consolidations.Proficiency in financial reporting systems and advanced Excel skills.Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with ERP systems such as Sage X3, Oracle, or similar platforms.R1 , – R1,, CTC per annum depending on experience.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting / Auditing and FinanceIndustriesFarming and Retail
