Personal Assistant (Insurance) position available in Paarl.
Our client, an Insurance company in Paarl, is looking for a Personal Assistant to the MD.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with at least 5 years' experience as a Personal Assistant, preferably in the Financial Services industry OR a B-Degree with at least two or more years' experience as a Personal Assistant, preferably in the Financial Services industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software at a basic to intermediate level
- Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize workloads
- Ability to follow established processes
- Own transport and cell phone are mandatory
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage electronic diary and organize the advisor’s schedule
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Coordinate engagements and events, including scheduling meetings and booking venues
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries
- Maintain client relationships
- Record client data on relevant database systems
- Prepare client files in accordance with legislation
- Liaise with staff and suppliers as needed
- Assist with client consultations for new business and service needs
- Maintain existing business relationships
- Develop and present financial planning recommendations or alternatives to clients
- Adopt a holistic approach to financial advice
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients
- Analyze and evaluate financial information
- Implement financial planning recommendations
- Monitor the progress of financial plans
- Oversee administration of the financial planning practice, including compliance, revisions, and marketing opportunities
