Personal Assistant (Insurance) position available in Paarl.

Our client, an Insurance company in Paarl, is looking for a Personal Assistant to the MD.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Matric with at least 5 years' experience as a Personal Assistant, preferably in the Financial Services industry OR a B-Degree with at least two or more years' experience as a Personal Assistant, preferably in the Financial Services industry
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office software at a basic to intermediate level
  3. Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English
  4. Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
  5. Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize workloads
  6. Ability to follow established processes
  7. Own transport and cell phone are mandatory

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage electronic diary and organize the advisor’s schedule
  2. Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
  3. Coordinate engagements and events, including scheduling meetings and booking venues
  4. Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries
  5. Maintain client relationships
  6. Record client data on relevant database systems
  7. Prepare client files in accordance with legislation
  8. Liaise with staff and suppliers as needed
  9. Assist with client consultations for new business and service needs
  10. Maintain existing business relationships
  11. Develop and present financial planning recommendations or alternatives to clients
  12. Adopt a holistic approach to financial advice
  13. Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients
  14. Analyze and evaluate financial information
  15. Implement financial planning recommendations
  16. Monitor the progress of financial plans
  17. Oversee administration of the financial planning practice, including compliance, revisions, and marketing opportunities
