Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated and caring Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a vibrant primary school in Waltham Forest. This role is ideal for Psychology or Education graduates seeking classroom experience to support future careers in teaching, educational psychology, or speech and language therapy.

The Graduate Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH, helping them access learning and build confidence.

Role Details:
  • Immediate start for a full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Support across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 depending on experience
  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and support staff
Requirements:
  • A degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or related fields
  • A positive, patient, and empathetic Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Experience working with children, tutoring, or youth work is advantageous
  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
