Photographer / Content Creator required in Johannesburg East.

Are you a creative and skilled Photographer & Content Creator with a passion for visual storytelling?

Our national client is seeking a talented individual responsible for producing high-quality photography and supporting basic video content for their social media platforms. You will also assist with maintaining their website by uploading new products and ensuring the site stays updated with fresh, engaging content.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities, a sharp eye for detail, and a love for crafting compelling visual narratives through images and videos.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Matric plus some tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Video Production, Photography, or Film.
2. Proven experience as a photographer and content creator (minimum of 1-2 years).
3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).
4. Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and photo editing techniques.
5. Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and their trends and content requirements.
6. Experience with e-commerce platforms and website management.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Excellent time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Creativity, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Capture high-quality, on-brand photographs for social media, websites, marketing materials, and more.
2. Edit and retouch photos to ensure content is polished and aligns with brand identity.
3. Assist with creating basic video content for social media (short-term videos, stories, reels).
4. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop engaging content.
5. Assist with website updates by uploading new products and ensuring accuracy.
6. Create and manage a content calendar for timely delivery.
7. Stay updated with current trends in photography, content creation, and e-commerce.
8. Brainstorm and conceptualize new content ideas for campaigns and initiatives.
9. Maintain equipment and manage photo/video storage efficiently.
