The Position

Roche Diagnostics in South Africa has an exciting opportunity for a medical/science graduate to join their external affairs team to help drive increased access to quality in-vitro diagnostics across the Southern Africa Network!

The Opportunity

  • Assist in strengthening our medical function via process optimization in relation with HCP (Healthcare professional) and HCO (Healthcare Organization) interactions and engagements.
  • Work closely with the MSL in evidence generation with local Institutions and ensure publication and shaping of policy and guidelines
  • Support the external affairs team in driving stakeholder engagement across medical, access, policy and regulatory in order to better understand our landscape and how best to realize our 10x strategy
  • Support the external affairs team in execution of field-based activities and events to enable commercial success
  • Mapping of Key Opinion Leaders and Stakeholders in the diagnostics value chain to understand levels of influence and impact to the Roche Strategy

Who you are

  • Medical/Science Graduate (NQF level 7 or more)
  • Strong engagement/communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good scientific acumen and understanding of the regulatory landscape
  • Ability to interact with Senior Academic and Clinical Experts on complex therapeutic areas
  • Team player, passionate and adaptable to ever changing environment
