Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curate and schedule TV programming for cruise ships, ensuring a diverse and engaging selection of shows and movies.
  2. Monitor and maintain the TV broadcast equipment, ensuring high-quality and uninterrupted service.
  3. Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with the TV equipment.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the TV programming aligns with overall guest experience and company goals.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for new and exciting programming options.
  6. Manage and maintain relationships with TV providers and negotiate contracts as needed.
  7. Train and supervise junior TV staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years experience in TV programming, preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of TV broadcasting equipment and technical troubleshooting skills.
  4. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proven experience in managing and supervising a team.
  8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
