Credit Reporting Analyst

A growing exciting company based in Durban, La Lucia is looking for a Credit Reporting Analyst to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Prepare and circulate all daily reports to relevant stakeholders.
2. Manage system / technical issues by logging service desk tickets with IT.
3. Track all system / policy / operational changes made.
4. Compile Month End reports and distribute in a timely manner.
5. Ensure KPI's are accurately recorded.
6. End to end system testing.
7. Ad-hoc projects.
8. Ad-hoc analytics.
9. Monthly analysis on key Credit Risk areas.
10. Use SQL to extract and analyze data to make data-driven, actionable recommendations about how to improve policies and processes.
11. Work closely with the Data Science team to price and implement Machine Learning or AI models that optimize portfolio outcomes.
12. Automation of reports and processes.

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Science or similar field.
2. Advanced Excel.
3. Proficiency in SQL.
4. 2-5 years' experience in Data Analytics, Modelling and Reporting.
