Requirements
Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, IT, or a related field.
Professional Experience : 5+ years in analytics, business-IT liaison roles, or similar fields.
Proven experience in data management, data governance, and project management.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView), strong knowledge of data processes, data modeling, and predictive analytics.
Expertise in data governance and quality standards.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and IT infrastructure for data environments.
Financial Management : Experience managing Capex and Opex for analytics projects.
Skills in reviewing vendor proposals, managing cost-effective solutions, and assessing quotes.
Project Management : Strong organizational skills to oversee analytics projects from demand to delivery.
Knowledge of methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
Business & Stakeholder Engagement : Ability to engage with senior stakeholders (e.g., Managing Directors, Functional Directors) and manage cross-functional teams to align analytics with business goals.
Data Literacy & Adoption : Ability to promote data literacy programs, identify competency gaps, and organize relevant training sessions.
Governance & Compliance : Strong understanding of data governance policies, access reviews, permission management, and compliance with organizational and external regulations.
Cross-Cultural Communication : Ability to work across diverse geographies and cultures, especially in African markets.
Knowledge of local business landscapes, market dynamics, and regulations is advantageous.
Soft Skills : Analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, proactive in resolving data issues, leadership, and collaboration skills.
