Catrobatkidz Coach West Rand JHB - Shape Young Lives Through Movement!
Do you have a passion for fostering physical development in young children? Do you thrive in a fun, active environment? Then join the Catrobatkidz team!
Catrobatkidz is seeking a reliable, punctual, fit and energetic individual to coach our exciting extracurricular classes for children aged 2 to 9. We offer dynamic and engaging half-hour, once-a-week classes at various nursery and primary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children by helping them develop fundamental movement skills and a lifelong love of physical activity.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver fun and engaging Catrobatkidz classes to children aged 2-9, following the established curriculum.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment for all children.
• Manage a classroom effectively, ensuring safety and participation.
• Arrive punctually to classes prepared and ready to coach.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and Catrobatkidz management.
• Maintain accurate attendance records.
• Adhere to all Catrobatkidz policies and procedures.
Schedule:
• Part-time, morning and afternoon opportunities available.
• Classes are typically once-a-week for half an hour at each school.
Requirements:
• Experience working with young children (ideally in child development, coaching, or gymnastics).
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom of young children effectively.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and patient demeanour.
• Own reliable vehicle is essential.
• Clear criminal record (background check will be conducted).
• Reliability and punctuality are crucial.
Bonus Points:
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in early childhood development, physical education, or coaching.
• Experience in gymnastics or similar movement-based activities.
