Job description

INTRODUCTION

Double-Zero a subsidiary of SA Vans Conversions, is seeking a Medical Sales Representative for our office in Durban. This Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's products to the medical/healthcare industry. Building relationships with these professionals, educating them about products, and ultimately driving sales. This role can involve presentations, product demonstrations, and attending medical conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling and Promoting: Presenting and selling the company's medical products to healthcare professionals. Facilitate and generate orders
  • Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals in their assigned territory.
  • Product Knowledge: Staying informed about the latest advancements and features of the company's products. Work closely with sales and other supporting roles within the organization
  • Educational Activities: Conducting product demonstrations, organizing educational events, and participating in medical conferences.
  • Target Achievement: Meeting and exceeding sales targets within their assigned territory.
  • Market Research: Staying up to date on industry trends and competitors, Research, analyse, plan, and recommend new business opportunities to ensure that all customers are fully cognisant of the product range

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience, especially in the healthcare industry, is highly valued
  • Minimum of 2- 3 years’ Experience in the Sales of mobile health and ambulatory equipment
  • Fire services equipment experience will be an advantage
  • Cultivate strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Willingness to travel within SA Vans branches
  • Drivers License
  • Sober habits
  • must be familiar with Government Contract management
