Job description

Purpose of the role :

To provide administrative support in the Human Resources Department and support all store departments.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Administration (filing, organization, etc.)
  2. Create personal files
  3. Administer HR documentation such as employment contracts
  4. Set up recruitment assessments and interviews
  5. Send regret letters
  6. Collate payroll data
  7. Order uniforms and badges
  8. Take minutes during meetings
  9. Post schedules on notice boards
  10. Follow up with HODs regarding working schedules
  11. Perform any other ad hoc admin tasks as required
Requirements :
  • Must have Grade 12 / Matric qualification or equivalent
  • Advantageous: HR-related qualification
  • Previous retail experience is an advantage
  • Familiarity with HR systems and payroll processes is an advantage
