Job description

My client is a leading freight forwarding and logistics company seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business and manage the full sales cycle.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage an assigned territory with deep knowledge of the market, potential clients, and competitors.
  2. Generate new business and maintain a balanced, diverse sales pipeline across all service offerings.
  3. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, collaborating with internal regional and global teams.
  4. Design and present tailored logistics solutions, including network diagrams and cost-benefit analysis.
  5. Oversee smooth onboarding of new accounts, including credit setup and transition to operations.
  6. Support accounts receivable collections and ensure timely customer follow-up.
  7. Maintain accurate sales data and activity tracking in CRM systems.
  8. Represent the company in relevant trade groups and industry events.
  9. Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.
Required Skills and Experience:
  1. Deep understanding of the trade and logistics industry, including market dynamics and key players.
  2. Minimum of 5 years successful sales experience within the freight forwarding or logistics sector.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional organizational skills.
  4. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  5. Highly motivated, proactive, and driven by targets and results.
  6. Skilled in building trust and long-term relationships with clients at all levels.
  7. Decisive and adaptable, able to respond confidently in fast-paced or changing environments.
  8. Persuasive communicator with the ability to influence outcomes and drive action.
  9. Consistently reliable, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  10. Confident in delivering impactful, client-facing presentations.
