The purpose of the position is to provide a proficient nursing service within the policies and procedures, governing legislation, and good corporate governance to ensure customer satisfaction.

Critical Outputs

1. Function as part of a theatre team under supervision of a Registered Nurse, competent and confident as Circulating nurse.
2. Deliver friendly, professional, and quality clinical care to promote holistic care and ensure patient safety.
3. Promote and maintain patient hygiene in all aspects.
4. Prevent cross-infection by adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
5. Maintain patient comfort and prevent complications.
6. Promote patient welfare by performing necessary observations.
7. Document and record all findings correctly in the patient's file.
8. Check stock in a timely and accurate manner.
9. Use, maintain, and store resources appropriately without wastages or equipment abuse.
10. Demonstrate good judgment, client service, and decision-making skills in line with company values.

Requirements

• Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary.
• At least 3 years' experience within a theatre environment is essential.
• Able to work flexi-time according to unit requirements.
• Knowledge of nursing activities within scope of practice.
