Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations for a remote position, preferably located in the NY, NJ, or CT area. This key member of the FUJIFILM Holdings America Leadership team will oversee all financial activities for the shared services organization and parent Company, supporting 27 legal entities in the Americas.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial activities in the Americas, providing financial support to affiliates and serving as a conduit between Japan headquarters and businesses in the Americas.
  • Work with leadership on strategic projects to increase profitability and improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Provide general accounting, credit, and collections, as well as financial support, for the regional headquarters and largest business unit in the Americas.
  • Oversee cash flow trends in the Americas and select treasury functions, including coordinating cash needs for Americas affiliates.
  • Develop strategic financial and operational recommendations for the executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
Investor Relations:
  • Report directly to the Tokyo Investor Relations department and serve as the direct contact for North American investors.
  • Manage relationships with existing and potential Fujifilm investors.
  • Regularly meet with investors to explain current financial situations, major announcements, or address questions.
Governance:
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across departments and divisions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve financial performance and support growth.
  • Manage resources, including human capital, technology, and infrastructure, for optimal allocation and utilization.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance operational workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall company performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA and/or CPA required.
  • 15+ years of experience in finance, including experience in a shared services environment, preferably in manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, or technology sectors.
  • Solid leadership and relationship building skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills, for confident presentation to various stakeholders.
  • Excellent business acumen, with ability to execute and influence.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Detail-oriented and dedicated to project completion and finding win-win solutions.
