Requirements :
- A Suitable qualification in the HVAC field (preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry (or similar), with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of HVAC products, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent design, specification and bid evaluation of mechanical equipment and systems skills.
- Excellent strategic planning, business development, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Be a self-motivated and can work without supervision.
- Ability to travel as required.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to :
Strategic Planning :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan to establish and grow the commercial sales division.
- Identify market opportunities, target clients, and set strategic sales goals.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
Business Development :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the commercial client base.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Revenue Growth :
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse results, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve sales goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts.
Operational Excellence :
- Ensure efficient sales operations by implementing best practices, processes, and tools.
- Monitor and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and market insights for senior management.
Customer Focus :
- Ensure exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Gather customer feedback to continuously improve products and services.
