Contract Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Contract Manager with a strong background in Logistics, Human Resources (HR), and Industrial Relations (IR). The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, presentable, and capable of managing operational tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for overseeing contractual operations, maintaining employee records, and driving compliance in line with labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the contract site(s) with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
• Maintain and update the Leave Register and Attendance Register accurately and regularly.
• Supervise and manage all disciplinary processes, ensuring adherence to HR/IR protocols and South African labour laws.
• Oversee logistics operations including scheduling, dispatch coordination, and fleet oversight.
• Foster strong relationships with staff, clients, and relevant stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Compile and submit reports related to site performance, labour, and compliance.
• Promote and enforce health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a Contract Management or similar supervisory role.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of Logistics, Human Resources, and Industrial Relations.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with strong leadership qualities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid South African driver's license.
