COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client is an electronic communications manufacturer and supplier based in Edenvale and they are looking for an Electronic Technician to join their team as soon as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fault finds on all PCBs
• Repair electronic circuits
• Be able to do PC board repairs up to component level
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams
• Read and interpret test equipment results primarily a multimeter and oscilloscopes
• Beneficial to have RF and GSM equipment knowledge

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• Minimum N6 or equivalent / National Diploma or B Tech in Electronics

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Experience as an Electronic Technician in electronic repairs down to component level
• Background in PCB fault finding, repairs and testing
• Able to read and interpret Schematics / PCB documents / circuit diagrams
• Electronic assembly
• Experience in fast moving production of PCBs will be advantageous
• Target and deadline driven
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently
