Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administration Supervisor reporting to the Retail Manager. The Administration Supervisor will support the Manager in the daily business operations of the retail store. Main responsibilities include supervising employees, assisting customers, and executing directives from the Retail Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Management: preparation, coordination, and distribution of floats; daily banking; consolidation of cash; preparing paperwork for HQ; SBV collection readiness; assisting cashiers with cash drops; allocating change; end-of-shift cash up; correcting cashier mistakes with manager approval.
  • Administration: managing old stock write-offs, stock transfers, invoice checks, GRV cycle follow-up, issuing purchase orders, handling store transfers, maintaining records and databases.
  • People Management: matching attendance with biometric data, handling HR queries, managing leave requests, ordering uniforms and PPE, recruiting staff per manager instructions, managing casual payments, addressing IR issues with HR, setting cleaning schedules.
  • General Duties: maintaining canteen upkeep, acting as stand-in for Retail Manager, managing stationary supplies, supporting department managers and colleagues, performing additional tasks assigned by management.
  • Housekeeping and Safety Standards: maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, ensuring personal hygiene, wearing PPE, avoiding interference with safety equipment, keeping work areas hazard-free.
