Medipost Pharmacy is seeking to recruit a CDU Stock Administrator for the Chronic Dispensing Unit, conducted for the Department of Health in the Western.
Job Specification
- Assist in daily warehouse receiving and distribution areas.
- Ensure stock is safely and correctly stored away.
- Receiving of incoming stock and routing to appropriate areas.
- Filing of stock orders from production.
- Accurately log inventory transactions.
- Conduct cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
- Complete instructions for all tasks accurately and timely.
- Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Operate forklift/walk-behind or man-on stacker/turret truck and/or pallet jack.
- Accurately pick orders from pick lists.
- Replenish the Auto Dispensing Unit (ADU) to meet operational demands.
- Bulk picking in preparation for the following day's dispensing.
- Replenish stock continuously to ensure uninterrupted dispensing on the ADU.
- Replenish stock on FIFO and FEFO principles to prevent expiry-related stock write-offs.
- Verify stock expiry dates and escalate variances to the supervisor.
- Attend and participate in daily/weekly team meetings.
- Adhere to good housekeeping practices.
- Accurate reporting of errors.
- Maintain time and attendance according to company policies.
Specific Requirements / Other Important Information
- Ability to prioritize a large workload.
- Maintain policy guidelines under pressure.
- Act independently and take charge of projects on short notice.
- Willingness to work overtime during high-pressure periods.
- Requirements:
- Matric, Learner Basic / Qualified Basic.
- 1-2 years' experience in warehouse, stock control, and replenishment.
- Registered at SAPC.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Critical thinking skills for planning and assessment.
- Strong organizing and prioritizing skills.
- Numeracy skills for calculations and estimates.
- Physical agility to lift heavy loads.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
